Chicago Growth Partners Leads Acquisition of World 50
CGP partners with management to build the preeminent networking organization for senior executives from the world’s leading companies.
Chicago Growth Partners is pleased to announce its acquisition of World 50, Inc. from EquaTerra, and its partnership with the company’s management to expand their business across the globe. World 50 was created to initiate and facilitate the most interesting and influential business conversations in the world and currently presides over eight executive membership groups: Marketing 50, Human Resource 50, CEO 50, Supply Chain 50, Global 50, Brand 50, Revenue 50 and Sustainability 50. Each group brings together C-level executives from the world’s leading companies to exchange ideas, share insights and discuss their toughest challenges. World 50 memberships are invitation-only, non-competitive and all member interactions are strictly confidential. Conversations are further enriched by inviting global leaders such as Henry Kissinger and Condoleezza Rice, business icons such as Larry Bossidy and A.G. Lafley and cultural figures such as Lance Armstrong and Robert Redford to share their insights and experiences with its members.
Devin Mathews, a CGP Partner, commented, “We are impressed with World 50’s passion in all it does, from continuously providing its members with unique experiences, to creating a company culture focused on excellence at all levels.” Bruce Barlag, World 50’s Chief Executive Officer, added, “We are happy to be working with a partner that shares our desire to build a great company. CGP has a long history of helping management teams execute their vision and they bring critical resources to World 50 at an exciting time in our company’s growth.”
CGP Managing Partner David Chandler commented, “At CGP, we seek out great companies with differentiated products and services in exciting markets and with excellent growth characteristics. World 50 meets those criteria and is led by a smart, dedicated and results-driven team and we are proud to add them to our portfolio.”
